Well, we tried cutting out the afternoon bottle. On friday, life was good. She woke up, I gave her her cup of juice and she cried for a bit.... but then drank some juice and got on with it. At bedtime, she drank about 8oz of milk - hurrah I thought....

Yesterday, tried again but she SCREAMED and SCREAMED!! So I gave her a 4oz bottle and she drank the lot and then had some juice!! At bedtime, she had 6 oz of milk so still better.

Today the same thing happened and I was in no mood to argue. So I think I'll run with the 4oz in the afternoon and see what happens.

Thanks all!!

Edward has 5or6oz in the morning when he wakes. Cows milk on his weetabix an hour later. and an 8oz bottle at night.

Thats it as far as milk is concerned. I give him yogurts and milk based food during the day. He also has around 7or8oz of water a day and has been known to drink more.
