okay where do i begin? you must excuse the rambling email because i'm on an emotional high, but i really wanted to share this with you guys.

some of you know my sister and her husband have been trying for a baby for about 9 years. they tried everything from ivf to fertility drugs, even looked at fostering and adopting but it all came to nothing. so they resigned themselves to the fact that they will be forever childless and so did we.

well, sis has just rang to tell me she's not going to university afterall because...she's pregnant!! her hubs worked out that she's 7 weeks gone.

they're off to see the doctor on tuesday so fingers crossed everything is fine.

omg i'm so happy, i've got tears streaming down my face. i wish brett and max were home so i could hug them both.

I understand your concern- but hopefully, fingers crossed it will all be
fine. The whole family must be over the moon!

You must be missing the fact you can't give her a big hug at the

Ohhhh- if you didn't stay so far away I'd call you for a wee chat.

It's one of those "taking it a day at a time" things that seem to take for
ages! My friend has just got to her 12 week mark- but it feels like she's
already been pregnant for 4 years!

I'll light a wee candle for her and say a few wee Hail Marys! I'm sure
she and her wee bubs will be just fine.
