my sister has her first ante-natal today.  she is going to request a listen for the heart beat.  mum rang me at 7am this morning, i think everyone is anxious. i've emailed lou (sis) to let me know how they get on.

okay here's an update.

she didn't have a scan on the monday as first thought.  all they did was make her fill in lots of forms-no exam or scan.  anyway, she had one today, and sent me her scan via email. i welled up when i saw her little baby on my screen. she calls it 'peanut' at the moment which is so like her!!! lolo

seriously though, lo is measuring 44mms.  sis says the heartbeat reminds her horses galloping...now that sounds familar-lololol.  due to her 'infertility problems' in the past she is under her infertility doctor and mw.  they've promised to liaise together regarding sis's pregnancy.  there's still a mystery surrounding how sis got pregnant after years of trying, then being told she's infertile (apparently she wasn't producing the eggs).  her specialist seems to think her drastic weight loss played a huge part in being able to produce the eggs after years of not being able to.

they've got names already. if it's a boy he'll be called alex and if a little girl she'll be evie short for evangeline.

i'm so chuffed for them i'm welling up again-lololo

the baby is due on the 13th october a week after max's birthday funnily enough.  i'll need to fetch a calendar to work out her weeks. 

how do i go about inviting her onto madmums?  isn't there a flyer i can email to her?  i have mentioned mms to her before, but she maybe a little shy.

Hurrah !!! How exciting....

So pleased all is going well. I still get excited whenever I see a scan pic, or a scan on the tellie!! I remember how excited I was when my sis had her scans too...

ANd yes, get your sis on here... then we can get the goss on you
