I am scared of starting lo on finger food and was thinking of getting mesh feeder, but put off by price! Anyway I just used a net bag for washing tablets and put lump of bread in it and lo sucked away happily!!! Might have to check no holes appear with repeated use partic when gets teeth but it worked well and thought others might like to try it!

even though I'm on my 4th i am not too good at finger foods! but i started fred off on things like skips or quavers as they melt in the mouth!

i staeted Louis off on cucumber and banana sticks things that are mushy, also carrot sticks are good!

I just started with bits of bread, toast, rusks (so hard they can only suck really) Banana, cucumber etc.

Dont be too nervous is my advice or your lo will sence it and be wary. As long as you stay with lo it is unlikey they will choke, Edward never has done.

I started Ryan on finger foods at 18 weeks & never had any problems - started with rusks but now he'll eat anything, hes 10 months 2day

aww bless hunni i started kim on finger foon when she was 6 months old and she loves thematm she is one cheese strings she loves them and chicken bits lol she loves them lol

have not tryed her on skips yet
