Is anyone else still breastfeeding or am I on my own now ?

I seem to get a very nice set of teeth marks around my boob now when feeding.  I don't think it's bad positioning but just the way Ols feeds.  It doesn't really hurt I just look like I have been chewed .

Aww Sam!

I stopped last weekend. I was only feeding once a day and he wasnt that interested - his milk intake has picked up since I stopped.

I was lucky with Edward - he only ever bit me 2 or 3 times and never hard. I dont think you have any choice with positioning at this age - its down to them!

Well done still feeding - I didnt really want to stop but it was best for Edward.

Glad Ed is happy.  I tried Ols on some cowsmilk the other day and he spat it out with disgust and looked at me as if I had gone off my head.  None of my children ever seem to want to stop breastfeeding.  I am just to lazy really, it's so easy to feed him when he is tired or if he is teething an unhappy.

Ols doesn't really bite he just seems to hold with his teeth if that makes sense so I get a nice set of 8 teeth marks.  At least I know when he has a new tooth without having to stick my fingers in and risk getting chomped.

I miss that. I know I still have some milk, and it is so tempting to 'wip um out' when he's grumpy. Although I havent done that for a while now.

I could do with another was of finding teeth, ed has nearly taken my fingers off when i'm hunting!
