Lyssia is cutting her 12th tooth its one of the back teeth it has cut through the gum and disappeared again, it has happened a couple of times now.

So my question is; Has anyone else noticed this with their lo?

Back teeth are a nightmare.  Ols looks to have white lumps on his gums at the back, I think it's the tops of the tooth but they haven't broken the gum yet.  They are bothering him though as he keeps putting his fingers in and moaning.

Sorry not much advice on this. My daughter cut her teeth without too much hassle. Apart from her first couple I never knew anymore were there until I noticed them.

My nephew had a terrible time with his back teeth but can't remember if it was the same as you have said above.

Could you possibly take her to a dentist just for a check up even and mention this?

Rachel had 3 back teeth one day and the next day they were gone.  It happened with a few on Jacks front ones to.  Dont worry they come back lol.  I suppose its a bit easier when they come back as the gum has already opened.

Trudi.  xx

We did take her to the dentist a little while back but he really didnt want to look at her teeth said she is too young...

Not happy with that we insisted he checked her teeth so he had a quick look with his mirror said 'she is good...'

I feel that dental care is a complete waste of time or that might just be my dentist, but we can't get any other NHS dentist in our area.

The tooth however has finally decided to stay.

I had no idea teeth could do that til Fred!  His front teeth are taking their time and one of them has come and gone a few times!  I have got to the point I think I'm losing it as just as I know it's there it disappears again!

Thank you for helping me realise I'm not mad!  But it is stressful when that happens!

I know a few ppl who have little ones that have had teeth do this. Mine only have 4 teeth at the mo so not many yet. All it is, is the teeth break the gums but if they don't push through enough the gums just grow back over the teeth. Its normal hun so don't worry xxxx
