Sorry to hear about ths dilema...but unfortunately to have a baby it takes two yeses but only one no.

I really feel for you, as although I am happy with my 3 I think I will always yearn for another baby...even though I have my hands full already. I can see what your saying about Ols needing a sibling and completly agree...But staying together as a family is probably more important than a sibling and god knows what having another would do if Keith is feeling so strongly.

I think your feelings are completly normal. However at the risk of putting my size 6 in my mouth...I think Keiths comment about you seeing a doctor is a little bit mean ( I have said this without knowing the full extent of the problem, and maybe that is his way of trying to get through to a very persisten women!)I think as women there is a real hormonal  attachement to child bearing and  raising children. That men just don't get...I am married to a wonderfeul man and a fantastic father . He is amazed at the bond and the lioness protecting her cubs attitude of mothers. He loves our children but in a completly different way to a mothers love. ( Keith no insult intended)

I for one cannot face the fact that this stage of my life is over. So I choose not to think about and enjoy my 3 under 5's, because I would have 7 kids and still want more!

As harsh as it sounds if one person says no then that is the answer...All this is my opinion and that is probably not worth very much!

Good Luck

Aww i have only just stumbled upon this thread and have read every single post.

Sam i want to apologise to you firstly as the events of my life before christmas and some of the desicions i was making must have angered you somewhat, i had no clue you desperatly wanted another baby.

Apart from the fact Flip has only said 'no' to another, do you think it is because of financial issues etc.. or the fact that he will be the one at home to look after the two babies, whilst you work?

I have never been in your situation where i have longed for a baby, Louis was planned but Harrison wasnt, i do know though that at some point in my life i will want another lo but dp is adamant he does not want anymore

I have no real advice as this is something only you and Keith can make a decision on and it is unfortunate that women need only a mans swimmers to help with the process.

I hope you can come to a decision soon,

Hugs to both of you as it must be tough of you both!

Corrine x
