I am sat here with the madmums radio on and my local news has just been on. It says that a man has been jailed for 3 years for raping and attacking a young woman, then the next news bulletin was a man getting jailed for just under 4 yrs for threatening a passer by with a toy gun, causing unnecessary fear. Where on earth is the justice in that. That poor woman has to live with fear, resentment, hatred and much more for the rest of her life. It angers me so much, the rapist should get life, rape is murder without the killing because that person who is raped dies and a new person is put in their place. I really think stronger penalties should be put in place for victims of rape and sexual abuse grrrr

I'm in full agreement, castration should be used on a first offence, with the main tool being taken with a second offence! It will teach them to keep it in their pants!
