I made Homemade burgers for me and dp last night and I saved one and cooked it for Ed today and he loved it!

I'm really pleased as I've been really struggling to get him to eat new things but he wolfed it down, even though he was quite tired.

I have a burger press from Lakeland which makes life a little easier with moulding them.

I am very proud of myself and my boy!

Adam seems to prefer home-made stuff to pre-cooked etc. Better for them anyway at least you know exactly what's in it.

I'm going to do some more today for him as he loved them soooo much. They seem to be his favorite food at the moment. He is back in a finger food stage and wont take food off a spoon which is exhausting trying to keep thinking of new things to try.

No problem Rin. I'll go and get it in a min for you, I would strongly recommend buying the burger maker from lakeland - its cheap and it presses them so they dont fall apart when cooking. The recipe is from there.

burgers sound like a good idea.

i made the boys home made fish cakes and they loved them.  i added the recipe to the weaning thread entitled recipe swap or something like that.

i make all our meals.  the boys eat what i eat.  the only time we give tom jar food is when we travel, for convenience.

My lot are having Chicken Korma tonight which is Adam's favourite. He can scoff a big bowl-full in 10 mins, lol.
