my mum has called and said he's much better, even trying to kick with his foot.  I'm going to see him first thing tomorrow morning, my dad is picking me up, it's a bit of a treck from here.  Let you all know tomorrow how he is.  Thanks again everyone, i'm sure she'll really appriciate all this.

Please let us know how Chris and Josh are when you have the time to Jen.  I hope he is feeling a bit better today.  When will you know the results of the laser scan?  Hope they keep his temp down and he recovers fast.  Big Hug to you all.

i been to see them both today.  Josh is doing much better.  He's even running round on his bandaged foot.  They say the damage looks promising for a good recovery, something to do with the colouration of the skin.  they leaving the scan until tomorrow, think it's because of the swelling but not 100% sure.  They are hoping to come home friday, depends if josh can move on to codine rather than the morphine while having the dressings changed.  They gonna try him on Thursday to see how he responds.  Things are looking good for a speedy recovery and hopefully very little scaring.

It's amasing how quickly kids bounce back.  How is Chris coping with it all?  I expect she could do with some morphine....
