I was wondering of those who are allowing ther lo's to have the jabs, have any had any adverse reactions.

Fred had his 2nd Jabs last Monday, and he hasn't settled properly since.  On top of that he actually started to come out in a blotchy rash, which turned into the spots that don't disappear with a glass.  Knowing that the vaccine includes the disease it is fighting, and because the spots were only on the lower parts of his legs, I din't realy think anything of it.  He is still gripey, and has got a spot still left, although if you didn't know where it was you couldn't find it.  I pressed a glass on it this evening, and took a picture(now remember this is a week later)  I'm taking him to the docs on Wednesday morning, and am hoping he can shed some light, as I tried to phone my hv 5 times last week, and couldn't get hold of her.  I looked on the internet for adverse reactions to the jab, and on no website that I found did it say that the baby developed the actual rash as a reaction.  Can anybody shed some light on this for me before I take him to see doc's as I just want to know if my lo is the only one that reacted like this!

Thanks ladies

Vix

The only reaction that Ollie has had to the injections is a temp and a sore neck.  He has had no rashes.  The meningitus rash is normally not a raised rash but more like blood blisters under the skin if that helps at all.  Ollie has a few rash type spots that come and go on his neck and shoulders mainly, which I think are just from the heat and dribble.  Good idea to get it checked out at the doc's.

I would take him to the docs then as the rash indicates blood poisoning ( septicaemia)
