Ellie has got a rash on her back and coming down her arms and legs - it is lots of little red spots that are very slightly raised....they do disappear when pressed..

She's not ill at all, she hasn't got a temperature and seems fine in herself..

I wondered if it is an allergy rash but I wondered what they look like as I've never seen one before..?

She had fish pie for tea that DH made but there were prawns in it so I pulled them out as I don't think she's allowed those yet?  and she's had a few quite spicy crisps to keep her quiet round M&S this afternoon

I've looked in the NHS book and it doesn't seem to be any of the illnesses described in there - any ideas anyone?  Thanks

Could it be heat rash greedy?  With the weather we've been having, I have been stripping Fred right down again as he had heat rash quite bad last year at this time!

It could well be an alergy rash - my friend's lo comes out like that when she has corgettes! As long as she's not got a temp or any other symptoms of not being herself, then its probably nothing to worry about.

Ella came out in a similar rash when I tried persil pure fabric conditioner and after changing her clothes to some that didn't have it on, it had gone within a few hours.

Just keep an eye on her, and if its still there in the morning, see if you can get her to a pharmacist.

hth xxx

Ollie has a similar rash and it gets worse when he is in the bath.  His is a bit of excema which isn't surprising as I suffer and so does my older daughter.  It could be a bit of excema triggered off by the fish if that is something new you have introduced to her diet.  Also it could be heat rash.  The weather is a bit warmer now and if you are still wrapping her up well from the wind chill she might have just got a little warm today when you were out.  Have you changed washing powder at all lately?  That can also give them a rash or if you have used different stuff in their bath.  Also teething can bring out a funny rashes.  hth

It might be fabric conditioner come to think of it, I've started using it again after a bit of a break... bummer, I'll have to wash everything again if it is LOL.

I don't think it's heat rash..it isn't very warm here today and we've no heating on either - but I've not put her fluffy PJs on tonight in case..

Thanks for your replies, it's good to hear your LOs have had rashes too - I'm a bit of a worrier about things like this!!

Edward came out in a rash similar to what you described a few weeks ago. After panicing and asking on here I put it down to a teething rash. It went away after 24 hours and hasnt reappeared.

Hope she's ok now hun x
