You are not alone and I'm glad you have found us so hopefully we can offer some support. I havent suffered from PND but have suffered from depression is the past and have strong views on being open and discussing depression as it is an illness and nothing to be ashamed of.

I am sorry you have been feeling worse. Seeing your gp to let them know you are feeling worse is not a bad thing. You can discuss an increase of anti d's if you feel it will help - remember PND is an imbalance of hormones and all the anti d's do is correct that - but if you dont want to try that there are other things that can help.

A diary can be helpful to see where and why your bad days are and to show you that you do still have good days. Also setting yourself a small goal each day can help so you feel a sence of achievement at the end of the day. Having people to talk to really helps and I hope we'll be able to help you there.

I too have pnd as find this site to be an absolute lifeline. my daughter ella is 14 months old and when I was first diagnosed I felt like my world had ended. its so nice to be able to come on here and know that there are people who know exactle how I feel and that i'm not on my own.

so glad you found us, and do feel free to post away! like mumsam said, we will get better, and when we do i'm having a massive cyber party!

didn't gail porter have pnd too? i'm sure it wasn't diagnosed until honey was 2

my mum suffered terribly with it after both me and my sis-she was worried i'd be the same

livs mum i think you'll find however you are feeling ther's always someone on here who understands-welcome
