The hospital have just rang to say they want to see Oliver next thursday afternoon about his abcess. 

The abcess doesn't really bother him, don't think it hurts him as he doesn't mind it being touched and pulled about.  It just won't clear up.  Getting a bit worried now about what they may decide to do to him to make it go away.

He's had antibiotics but they didn't do anything at all.  I just hope they don't decide to operate on it.

Well we saw the doctor at the hospital.  She ummed and ahhhed and scratched her head.  Then went off to talk to another doctor.  Basically we saw a medic doctor and as Ollie isn't medically ill as in no temp, not throwing up she didn't have a clue.  We have now been refered to the surgeons which is who we really needed to see in the first place.  We need to make sure that the abcess doesn't turn into a fistula which is a little tunnel as that could make him quite poorly after a while.  So we wait again for another referal to arrive.
