We've just found out that our neighbour and her lil girl have TB. The lil girl is only 2, but fortunately they're in hospital in the UK-best place for them. 

Both of the boys were given the BCG jab, but the nurse didn't think Max's jab had taken.  So we're going to have our chests x rayed tomorrow.  Wish us luck, please.

Hope it all goes well for you tomorrow Zoe.  It is really hard to catch TB and you need to have been in prolonged close contact with someone.  Also the person who has it needs to have infectious (smear positive) TB.  It is best to get it all checked out to put your mind at rest but am sure you will be ok.

Just to update you-we haven't been able to have the x rays yet due to friday being a public holiday (don't ask!), but I'm hoping to get them done tomorrow after work.  Max isn't showing any symptons, and now that I know what to look out for (thanx to mumsam and the internet) it is unlikely that he would've caught it.  I'll let you know how we get on.
