Ok well this is weird, not through any of my last 4 pg's have I ever had this much energy in me!  I have had a build up of moss on my outside washing line for ages, and it hasn't bothered me, well today I have just taken a bowl of flash outside and scrubbed the line clean!  I've also put the washing in, which isn't unusual, but I am getting an overwhelming urge to clean the floor!  Now without sounding like the worst housewife (which I am) I sweep it and I hoover it, but when it comes to scrubbing it, it doesn't happen!  However something tells me that it will be sparkling tonight!  I'm actually wishing I could pipe water up from moms too, as I also want to clean the windows!

Someone tell me the urge will pass, as I've never been quite this bad!

Lol, I went throught his when I was preg with Adam. I gutted my house top to bottom when I was 32 weeks gone and kept on cleaning like a thing possessed until I was 38 weeks.

I was exactly the same with both of my pregnancies Vic

As soon as I hit 35 weeks I was like a woman possessed!!!

Dunc would come home from work every night and would nearly pass out cos of the smell of Flash in the house!!! I was addicted to the smell of Orange Flash pmsl!! I cleaned the kitchen (and I mean serious deep clean!!) about 10 times a day!!

I even painted the bathroom when I was 36 weeks gone with Ellis (I hate decorating!)- dh came home one night to find me balancing on the bath edges stenciling dolphin shapes onto the walls - he was not impressed!!!!!!

Needless to say as soon as both bubs were born this phase passed and my house went back to being a bomb site again lol!!

xxxxxx

lol well as many of you know dp and I bought our house and moved in on the 1st April 05, just 16 days before Travis was due.  I cleaned the bathroom at my mum and dads and the kitchen, but my mum is a clean freak anyways so the place was usually spotless.

When we moved into our own house, the girl that lives here before didn't do a very good job of cleaning, although she said she would.  There were cat hairs everywhere for weeks!  I painted the living room at 39 weeks gone, DP did the high bits!  I cleaned the bathroom loads.  Everything was just in boxes really we hardly had anything.  I wish I had the urge to clean just now.  I've just washed and dried the sofa covers, so at least there not covered in rusk anymore!!!

SIL is pregnant and she says she has an urge to clean the bathroom and doesn't, but when she goes for a wee, she feels so guilty as the bathrooms a mess.  Poor preggy people!

Do you have enough energy to come up to Scotland and clean my house for me?  Pweeeeease?

Get out of the house woman... its not safe!!! lol.

I have gone from having no energy at all whilst pg to loads!!!

I was up at 7 today and by 9.30 everything was done.. kids sorted, washing up done, laundry on, dryer on, kitchen and front room cleaned (still gotta hoover tho) i was like a possesed woman.

Df can't beleive the change in me so soon after dropping, he was expecting me to be out of it for a couple more weeks..

Well I haven't done the floor, but I have caught up on some much needed cleaning!  My pelvic area feels like it's dropping through the floor, by bump has gone rock solid, which it doesn't usually do for a few hours yet!  And still I have loads of energy!  I need to get the ironing done, but can't do that til Fred's in bed! So I might sit down on the floor and do some of the floor by hand in a better position! And work tile by tile!  That will sort the floor out! lol  Wonder what else I can get done before dh gets home?  Oh well I'm sure I'll find something else that needs doing!  And to make it worse, I even cooked myself spaghetti bolognaise for one for lunch!  Not too bad if I do say so myself! lol

And if you want the energy I'd be willing to give it away cos dh will kill me when he gets home knowing what i have done! pmsl

OMG I have finally decided I'm nuts! lol Yes I only just figured it out!

I couldn't find a scrubbing brush anywhere, so rather than waste all this energy stood up doing the ironing, I sat down and used a toothbrush! lol  I know not the best thing, but it seems to have worked well!  I've only managed to do about 20 tiles so far, but wow do  they notice! lol  Will have to have an early night to refresh me into finishing the job tomorrow! lol
