I had  a natural birth with gas and air.  I had a shot of Morphine as I wasn't dilating more than 2/3 cms and they were pushing me to have a thingymajiggor needle in the back!!   Goodness I don't know whats with me.  A few months back I had to ask what it was when a baby was born before the due date (premature!)

I have voted twice as i had an emergency c-section with my first and elective c-section of my own choice with my second, i did this because my first labour went on for 82 hours in total before they decided to do an emergency c-section as i had a string of horrid midwifes who thought i could carry on, it turned out ds was sideways and trying to come out of my hips, but towards the end his heart rate started to drop and the anensetic guy said that was enough and he made the decision to do the emergency c-section thank god and that is why i choose to have an elective c-section this time as i was terrified of going through that again.

I went into labour on the 31st and Liam was born on the 2nd of june i ot to 8cms without anything, i was still joking about everything, but it all went wrong at 9cms and i had to use gas and air which is FABBBBBBBBB!! Go me, im so proud of myself!! I almost ended up having a section at one point, and then at the end i was almost going to have another assisted delivery but Liam had other ideas!!

I voted emergancy C- section....Laila Grace just didn't want to come out....we were stuck at 9cms for over 2 hours. I was tired and laila Grace was in distress. I felt a right failure aferwards but nearly 2 years on I know it was the best thing for all of us. At least when she's a teenage and shouts " you can't be my mum" (as they do at that age...so I'm told) I can answer back " well I am...I've the scar to prove it !"

We're pregnant again, only 9 weeks (everything crossed) but I would really like to try it natural this time but if the same happens again and we need to have a c- section for the right reasons, then so be it. I would rather be left with a bigger scar and holding my baby than any other result.

I feel no shame in having had a c-section, it was what was needed at the time.
