okay, max surprised us all with becoming dry very fast.  he hasn't had an accident for ages and his nappy tends to be dry during the night.  if he needs to wee upon waking up he asks for his nappy to come off.  sometimes he takes it off himself to wee so i was wondering do you think he is ready to go nappyless at night yet?

we don't want to push him, and there is the factor of us travelling to the uk in june. is it wise to night time train with up this upheaval? so what do you think?

Oh I dont know babe, if you think he is ready then its worth the try. Joshua has been dry for almost 18 months during the day and I still havent completely done the night time thing. When I move into the new house I think I will start it then. Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated here too xxxx

on second thoughts i think we'll wait until we're settled again.  don't want to upset the balance, he's doing so well.

really proud of him.

when did everyone else's become dry at night, (just out of curiousity)?

Aww good luck with this - hav u got him in a nappy or pull ups at nite?

Just thought pull ups might b easier for him getting up for the loo if this isnt wot hes wearing already

I would just go for the 'no nappy' approach, he sounds ready enough & u can always buy those pampers pads for the bed just incase while ur over here

Ahh cool Zo

The pampers pads r waterproof square things that u can put under lo where they sleep so if they hav an accident u dont need 2 change the whole bed - the bit they lie on is material similar 2 the nappy lining so doesnt need 2 b covered & also absorbs most of the moisture

Taylor still isnt dry at night, we have tried pull ups/dry nites and the no nappy approach... and i found the latter to be the best as if he does have an accident he knows it. (hahaha, evil)

Depending when the last time he had a drink usually says if he is going to wet himself, it happens about twice a week.

I wake him at around 11pm and 2 am to go to the loo, as he hasnt learnt to wake up when he needs a wee.

oh i forgot about the waking up part!!

max usually wakes up to come into our bed so (when the times comes) i'll put him on the toilet and then his own bed.

i found that he had taken his nappy off during the night and that he had wet the bed.  i do think he's ready, but i'm unsure what to do with travelling so soon,'
