Sorry to hear he did not pass this time around.  Can he sit it again?  I hate tests I think you get so worked up about them that you don't perform as well as you would under normal circumstances anyway.  What did he fail by this time, does he know?

I'll be sending positive thoughts to him.

It must be a day for it. My Other half has his final CIPS (Purchasing & Supply) exam today. He has a few retakes to take in November but that will be it after 3 years of studying.

It will be worth it when he is qualified. We need all the ambulance drivers we can get. They are brilliant. I work in the NHS and know they are unsung hereos.

He doesn't get told which Qs he got wrong, only that he got 82%. Saw him earlier and he said he needs to decide what to do now as he doesn't want to go through it all again. He's been on the internet looking at vacancies for other jobs.

It's such a shame, as it's what he's always wanted to do since he was at school. Everyone he works with tells him he is brilliant at his job and would make a great paramedic - even his supervisors! Just seems like such a stupid way to promote people - surely it should be through appraisal and how good they are at their job, not whether they can revise a few text books!

Oh no!

I'm really sorry I didn't see your 2nd post. That is pant's!

Surely there should be something he could do. He shouldn't give up on his dream. His Manager's are crazy if they let him go.
