how do u know this is my first and iam 35weeks preg n gettin some really funni turns the midwife seems 2 think that ive have a sort of a show as ive had light brown discharge that started at 5:00 last night n just gettin little bit now (tmi sorry) i can fee a lot of pressure n my tummy has droped twice so iam now quite low ive had low bk ache and period pain like feelins just mild tho n havin a lot of BH just wonderin if any1 could give me any advice or help or is this normal 4 the 35weeks that i am?? thanks xxx

i had alot of lower back ache at 36 weeks that lasted a week and then my labour started at 37 weeks, its probably your body getting ready for the labour, if it worries you ask your mw, i am sure they will put your mind at rest.

Theres no way any1 can really tell u how it will feel wen labour starts - cause its different for every1 but like Trudi says 'u will know'

I think every1 is a little bit paranoid that they wont know & lo will just 'pop' out (if only) but wen ur in labour u'll suddenly understand

Good luck wen it happens - i'll keep my fingers crossed uv got a few weeks yet

Yay!! Sounds like you're very near the end!!

I didn't have a show nor did my waters break until right near the end. But I went 41 and 42 weeks and had to be induced.  So compared to my account you sound like you're ready to pop any moment.

How exciting!
