Usually the temp is 7-10 days after the jab, she may get a reaction to the measles part which would show as a rash at approx 2 weeks later, and if she has a reaction to the mumps part, that would be approx 3 weeks, but Fred was teething I think and had a cold when he had his, and he seemed to have a couple of rough days only.  Just keep an eye on her, she should be fine!

I got a leaflet from the nurse which said what to look after for - it's like Vix said, Ellie's temp kept going very high (worse time was about 2 weeks after) and she got a rash about 10 days afterwards which lasted about 5 days....she was very clingy and sleepy on the days when her temp was high but I gave her calpol and nurofen thru the day and night and she was fine...she then got a cold and cough but I don't know if this was related to the MMR or whether she would have got that anyway...

some babies don't react to it at all tho (my neice and nephew didn't) so you might be lucky,

I hope Molly's ok having hers today, xx

Hope Molly is Ok. Harry has his mmr on June 28th so this advice is helpful to me as well. I can't remember my other 2 reacting to it so hopefully Harry will be the same.

Yeah as has already been said the don't seem to react until about 7 days after the jab

Lily has had a high temperature and also the rash  - she too developed a cough and the cold but as Greedy says dunno if thats a reaction or just bad timing lol! I just kept her on Medised at night and calpol during the day.

Hope Molly is ok with hers I'm sure she will

Apparently the best thing to give them when the mumps bit hits (day 8-10) is baby nurofen as its an anti inflamitory and the mumps makes the glands swell up.

Hopefully she'l be ok jue. Ed was a bit off from day 8 for a week or so but not really poorly and he was teething too.

Good luck hun x
