Well I really am having a fun day! I went to the mw clinic today and again I had a different mw. And because she is not 'my' mw she says her hands are tied in what she can do to help me out. So until my actual named mw is back I'm getting bounced from one place to another with no one willing to make a decision! She hasn't put me in touch with my consultant, but she is sending me to the day unit tomorrow to check the position of the baby. However if my platelets continue to go down, thats not much help. No one is willing to discuss the relevant treatment that I may need, and unless it's a proper scan not just a positional one, then they can't tell the condition of the cord or placenta, to check who's dates are accurate. On top of this with the pressure I've had over the last couple of days I have often felt I could quite easily push him out! And no one seems too concerned on this either. So at the moment I am at a loss as to what to do. Short of praying hard baby turns at 37+5 there's not really a whole lot I can do! Sorry for the rant again ladies, but I am getting annoyed with the way they are passing the buck one day at a time.

Aww no vix ur having a rough time! I really hope they sort u out before u have 2 sort them out! Its not even funny when ur and ur babys health is potentially at risk! So annoying when they cant/wont help! Here if u need me xxxxxxxxxx

That is just rediculous. Do you know who your consultant is, if so there is nothing stopping you phoning his secretary and leaving a message for him, he is then obliged to respond. Cut out the middle man who is messing you around and go to the top. Or if the day unit is at the hospital that your consultant is at go and find his office tomorrow and see his secretary and explain your problems they can't ignore you. Hope you get seen very soon.
