The "What Katie Did" books are really good too I used to read them to the girls when they were little.  I read Olga when I was a little girl.

My fave book- possibly Catcher in the Rye. Also liked Alison Pearson- I don't know how she does it. Plus read Life of Pi last hot hol- interesting read.

Dd's (6yrs) fave at the mo is either Roald Dahl stuff - or Jacqueline Wilson - Tracey flippin Beaker all over this house & it's always on cbbc! Plus dd is also enjoying the Next catalogue & has listed her reqts for the new season!!

Plus for kids- The Jolly Postman is a fun book.

For ds (15wks) looks like it's back to the cloth or plastic books- give him sthg to chew on.

anything by John Grisham, the Hannibal books, The rats trilogy, Maggie O'farrells books, The Giver by Lois Lowry (Teenagers book sort of but VERY clever)
