I am really trying to understand my kids' logic!  They have been hounded for 2 weeks to get all their washing together, and up until yesterday they had told me there was practically nothing up there and now I found out they hadn't done a thing!  Well I was determined that I was going to be able to close the bedroom door, thinking he just had toys on the floor, so I made ds2 clean his things away!  We got 2 big baskets of washing!  Okay, I was expecting some of it, but they have been given 4 jobs between them, and the washing up and bins were the top 2 on the list and they understood that!  Ds1 has just emptied the clean clothes out of the big washing basket and taken that upstairs!  When I noticed that half the clean clothes were around the kitchen floor, I ordered him to bring the basket back downstairs, and put the clean stuff back in it (they were only washed and dried yesterday and today) he brought the washing basket downstairs, passed full to overflowing, and he said he's only just started on his side of the room!  Now he has come downstairs to get the binliners so that he can tidy his bedroom!  And still the washing up has not been done!

I just don't understand them!  I wouldn't mind but I now have the equivalent in washing of more than 5 big baskets, and moms washer doesn't hold as much as mine does!  So if I take my washing down to my moms tomorrow, the chances of it being done my midweek next week is slim to non existant!

I am so cross it's unbelievable.  I can't even type on here how angry I am!  I understand that teenagers are difficult, but this is way past a joke.  So to those who were wondering how I got by with so little washing I guess we now know the secret!

They should join up with my 14 year old daughter. She has 5 school blouses in the hope that she will have a clean one each day, but on the 6th day of needing one comes a frantic cry where my school shirt. Guess where they are in the dip of her room along with all her other clothes. Today all I had was a pair of knickers from  her so where is everything else, on her floor.

I don't think see will ever learn that she needs to put her clothes in the laundry basket if she wants them washed !

Oh well!  I've cancelled going to moms to do the washing tomorrow, so I will make them sort the clothes out tomorrow night properly!  I've noticed a few things go in the box that don't fit, or haven't been washed since last time, so I am refusing to take them down until they go through them properly!  At least then I can with any luck get the school clothes they are in after tomorrow and get both sets done in a day! lol
