i know there's no exact science to this but i was wanderin roughly when dh would b able 2 feel Caleb move. i'm 23+3 now n i feel alsorts of movements very regular and had 3 visual hits but as of yet he's felt nothing and is getting very frustrated, bless him.

I can get him movin but not strong enough for dh to feel, surely he should be able to feel something by now???

please give him some light at the end of the tunnel so he knows roughly when to expect a kick or something.

I first felt Ryan move at 20 weeks & his daddy felt him move 3 weeks later

If u can find wot lo responds 2 best this might help - Ryan did big kicks & wriggles 2 music so we played him some, put the ear phones on my belly & off he went

Some babies respond 2 light or prodding or even try getting ur dp 2 talk with his mouth agaist ur tummy but b warned Ryans daddy got a kick in ear (from ryan not me)after doing this lol

Probably around about 26wks, it depends how much fluid you are carrying too and how big baby is and what position he is lying in, not much longer though.

I felt Max kick at 16 weeks and Brett felt him kick about a fortnight later.  Max was a very active baby, can you remember Squidge?

I was 17 weeks pregnant with Tom when I felt him kick and DH felt him move at about 20 weeks.

I have it all written down-lol.

I don't know why some babies tend to 'show' their movements more than others, but when DH sees/feels that first kick it's going to be such a lovely moment for you both.

I just hope Caleb does a lil jig for his auntie!!

now that did seem weird seein that Zo. got so used to me bein the auntien neva the mum!!!

I've bin feelin movements 4 wks n seen 3 since movin 2 new house, they've all bin in the morn n dh missed em all! I know Caleb loves proper coffee (of which i only drink now n then, usually 2 get him 2 move) n he likes anything sweet which is a gr8 excuse 4 me

I remember Zo's first, Max, was easy 2 get movin, all we had 2 do was brush our nails across her belly n there he was... he aint changed now n still as active! Caleb did do it 4 dh but not hard enough 4 him 2 feel.

He responds 2 proddin eventually but he takes his time. by what u've all said i think it mite b cos i've got alot of fluid (so i was told when havin scan) seems like he'll be quite a l8 1 then which'll drive his dad insane... n others 2 cos every1 waitin 4 him, must b shy like his mum lol

Take care,

Lou xxx

Shy? You? You're having a laugh!!

Right, I'm making it my auntie mission to get that baby kicking for his daddy!

I bet Max will be able to do it!!

I used to notice the kicks more in the evening when I was relaxed watching telly.  But los always seem to kick you when you least expect it.  Ask mum about the Monsoon shop incident with Max.

TC Lovey.  Love n hugs. Zo xxx

I agree with you there Zoe, sorry Lou but you've never been shy chick!  Still remember you trying to tag along with us in germany, and us doing our best to run away...failed miserably.

It'll happen soon enough, just watch out for the elbows and feet when they go moving across your tummy, bit like a scene out of the old alien films.

If you want a giggle, when movements get larger, do the malteaser thing, stick one on your belly and wait for it to get booted off.  Mind you when I was pregnant with my monsters, they objected to me resting cups of tea on my belly as I used belly as a handy coffee table!  Lost lots of brews that way.

Take care and hope u enjoying the new house

DP used to sit with his hand resting on my belly in the evening. Bubs got used to the vibrations through his hand when he talked and knew it was him so used to kick loads! I cant remember what point in my pregnancy it was though.

Good luck!
