no-we are married; but we arent really godly; lily can decide when she's older

plus my mil said shed found matching outfits for her and lily when we have her christened so thats another reason not to do it!

wonder what my mil would look like in a babygrow!!lol

lynie nothing would suprise me-poor alex being christened in the loft!!lol

a naming ceremony-another excuse for a party might be nice tho!

I kind of fancy a naming ceremony but don't know anyone to invite to it a bit like our wedding think there will just be us at it.  Either that or you have to invite every Aunt and Uncle that is 5 times removed and you only met once when you were 3 at Great Aunt Nellies wedding

You are allowed to LOL as much as you want, it means you are happy and not a miserable cow like me at the moment

I agree with mumsam about allowing the children to decide their faiths when they're older (if they want to have a faith).  Brett and I are not religious - we refused to be married in a church opting for a civil ceremony instead. We had a naming ceremony for Max - Gambian style and will probably throw a lil pardee for Tom when back in the UK!  Any excuse for a pardee!!
