Just wondering if those who's los hav had a rash after the MMR could answer a few questions for me...

How long after the jag did it appear? How long did it last?& was it all over the body or just in 1 place?

the reason im asking is cause im dredding Ryan being spotty or unwell for the wedding which is in 2.5weeks

He had his MMR 2day & was fine, didnt even cry. My brave little man

Edward never got the rash but the nurse said if it was going to appear it would be between day 8 and 10 - although I think it could be up to day 14. I think it only lasts a few days so I'm sure Ryan will be fine! Try not to worry babe!

Lily had a rash about 4 days after that was only slight and went away in a day

Then a week or so later (i think!) she got another one that covered her everywhere - her face wasn't too bad and went away after a coplue of days but the one on her stomach and back lasted for a week I think.

She had a slight temp with it but nothing major - calpol soon sorted that out

I am sure he'll be just fine for the wedding though hun - he might not even get a rash at all hun most don't

Well done Ryan for being so brave today

xxxxxxxxx

Harry had his jab today and screamed and screamed partly because he was tired as he should have been asleep. My HV told me he could have a rash in about 10 days or he could be lucky and have no rash. I was also told that he might develop a slight temperature over next 24 hours and to just give him calpol for it.

Glad Ryan was brave and that it went Ok

The leaflet I had with Ella's mmr appt says 7 to 10 days after the jab for a rash. Ella had one at about day 8, but it didn't last too long. She did have a temp, but nothing that nurofen and calpol couldn't cope with!

Hope Ryan and Harry are OK with it!

Ellie's rash appeared on Day 9 and lasted about 5 days - she kept getting a temp on and off - the worst and last time being on Day 15 and after that she was fine... (I made a note of the days and stuff as I am scared when Ellie's ill!)

glad he was ok having it, I'm sure he'll be fine by the wedding...
