Max is back in pull-ups again.  Since being in the UK he's had more and more accidents.  So much so that I can't keep up on the washing and mopping up. To be frank I'm on the verge of tears and if it wasn't for mum intervening I think I would've flipped.

So as from today he's back in pull-ups.

He has been drinking alot of juice so we're going to cut down on that.  It can't be the lack of attention because he gets oodles of it.  I realise he's had alot of change lately, but we've been here 3 weeks now and he's settled in.  Besides, he was having alot of accidents at home too.

I'm hoping when he sees Joshua he'll want to go back to using the toilet again.  Until then I've got to bite the bullet, regress back to stage 1 and take each day as it comes.

We have been having lots of accident with ds but now he has turned the corner again and is doing really well, it might be just a short lapse in concentration i am sure he will get back to normal soon.

Oooooo yes, thank you for asking Rin!

He is still in pull ups, but he is going to the loo and weeing.  He's had very few accidents.  He still does his Joshua impersonation of standing and weeing rather than the sitting on the loo and doing it too.  We're all dead chuffed.  I've also made him a star chart, which is having a wonderful effect on him too.

He's doing really well, and we're taking one day at a time.  I'm one happier mummy and Max is one relaxed lil boy!!

Jess did not toilet train till she was 2 yrs n 9 mths as she did not have a clue b4 then and we had a period of her slipping back when she started to see her dad as he put pull-ups on her in case she wet in his precious car or house....they had just had new carpets laid!!!

I found just offering her loads of praise when she managed not to have an accident worked.........

Gd luck hun xx

Awww how cute glad Joshua was able to have such a positive effect on the little guy!

Hazy, I still not mastered the night time thing and Joshua has been dry during the day for 2 years almost! Everytime we tried it he was going through a bad phase of night terrors and he just had no bladder control, then he was on sleeping medication. He hates going to bed in pull ups, and I find him without one on when i go to tuck him in but he has stopped waking up for wee's in the night and his pull up is nearly always wet. I have no idea when i should think about starting it again.

It takes time mate, don't stress so much about it.  It doesn't happen overnight, and takes a while.  Tasja was 4 by the time things were all sorted, however even now there are a few accidents...but thats mostly due to last minute ooooo left it too late.  My mum said to me that all kiddies are sorted by the time they start primary school...so don't stress, cos you are just putting pressure on yourself.  It'll happen, at least max is using the loo, um the paddling pool etc isla still can't be bothered!

Pmsl Steph, he does have a tendency to pee in the pool-ewwww!

We've not even thought about night time training yet. We'll get the daytime sorted first!
