Ella has a raised lump on her left shoulder blade. I appeared about 4 months ago, and she cleverly scratched it off - which was nice.

Anyway, it just sat there and I thought it was going to become a mole, but apparently its a wart. My nephews all had these on their shoulders and backs, and poor Joe had them round the top of his legs. My sister was told various methods of treatments from doctors, including one who said to use a sterile needle and split them open! Needless to say, she only ever did that once!

Apparently, its really common in babies and children and she will eventually build up a resistance to the virus and it will go. It apparently runs in families, and I've since found out that I have them too! Under my left arm. They've been there forever, but I thought they were just little flaps of skin. I've got to have mine frozen off apparently - or I'll turn into a witch I suspect...

So there you have it - you learn something new everyday!

I had one on the side of my hand when I was a child for years.  Hayley has had one in the exact same place too.  We just used over the counter wart stuff and they went eventually.  My Nan used to tell me you got warts from playing with eggshells....

i got one on my index finger its gross, but not big...i have had a few since i was little, at one point the whole side of my big toe was covered in them and i had them all frozen off at the docs, wasnt painful and suprisingly there is no evidence they were ever there! Might ask for this one to be frozen off too, i hate it i get paranoid that people are looking at it despite it being hardly visible! I was told that the virus never leaves the body it just stays inactive and occasionally it flares up and presents as a wart somewhere else! Interesting though! I was also told the eggshell thing
