You may have heard that a 'Food for the brain schools campaign' has recently been launched.  The idea behind the campaign is to improve the diet and exercise of children and young people, so that they are more likely to be healthy and find it easier to behave and learn.

As part of this campaign, you are been given the chance to fill in a free on line questionnaire.  You will then be given a personalised reportcontaining some ideas about how to make some simple changes to improve your childs wellbeing and maximise their potential.

I think the idea is good, however, at dd's school they have started saying they are only allowed milk or water!  I just think so long as they are eating a well balanced diet, then there should be no problem!

Only milk or water a dd's school to and no crisps, chocolate, biscuits or cake for snacks or in their lunch boxes.
