Well Ed now has 2 teeth and has bitten me once (but not overly hard).

I spoke to a hv the other day and she congratulated me on still feeding and on how great Edward is and said I should give myself a pat on the back. I felt really proud! I said I'd stopped feeding at night but I wasnt ready to stop bfing altogher yet and she said she could see that I was obviously still enjoying it.

I was concerned I was doing something wrong or my milk wasnt good enough as Ed is still so small (15lb 2.5oz at 31 weeks) but she said he's always been a small baby and that I shouldnt be worried.

I cant imagine stopping at the moment but people sound so suprised when I say I'm still feeding him myself.

I know what you mean Madz, people seem to ask with an element of surprise now when you say you are still breastfeeding.  I have been bitten a few times now and it blooming hurts with 6 teeth.

I wouldn't worry about Ed's weight he is growing and doing so well, he is just a little man as opposed to my giant who is now in 9-12mnth clothes and weighing over 20lbs.  Ollie tends to feed once in the morning and then not again until bedtime, then I feed him when he wakes in the night which can be once or can be 8 times depending on how he feels that night....

I have no plans to stop netime soon. Zoe is 23 weeks. I very much enjoy bf as does she and i havent even thought about when to give up. Think ill go till ive had enought this time or till she starts protesting if she does in the meantime. Its become a normal part of my daily routine....

I have a nucular bone scan booked because of my hips problem.

Because they inject radioactive stuff into you first I will have to suspend breastfeeding (dont know how long for yet)

I only feed in the morning and occassional topups (this is less than once a week now, normally just when he is poorly).

This may mean I will give up altoghter rather than change his routine again.

Not sure If its really what I want yet though.

I stopped b/f both of mine at 6 weeks because it hurt me sooooo much.  Wanted to go on till at least 1 year old though.

Hi,im still feeding Zoe,she is just over 6 months,i think lol (born aug 22nd). I always felt a year is a bit much but i am really still into it and hope to carry on till atleast that long. Only fed 1st 5 months and 2nd 1 month (felt guilty about 2nd). I have this thing about feeding her in public come a year old though. People think its too much and look at u gone out and judge u. I know its a perfectly natural thing to do and u shouldnt be worried by wot others think but i think ill feed her in public till she is 8 months or so  as she looks so big as she is long. then keep to bedtimes, although having said that i might just carry on. I dunno, just a worry i have,i dont ant to give up netime soon though!
