Did anyone else watch this last night?

Talk about romantic, it was about a guy who wanted to propose to his gf properly after having made a hash of it the first time.  He learnt how to sing and dance in 1 week to surprise her on a trip to London.

It was lovely, oh to have someone love you that much they would do anything to get you to marry them.  I couldn't stop crying cos I am a soft cow lol

Oh yeah i watched it! How sweet wuld that b to have some one go through all that just to show you how much they love you! But what a memorable proposal, u wuldnt forget that in a long time ey?

It started off a bit dodgy in the beginning of the show, but once u could see how much effort the bloke, the dancers and the backing singers were making to get things just rite, it woz pretty good in the end!

Is that show just a one off or are other ppl doing the same thing? I b watching again if they are!

Och- that sounded brilliant- I missed it too! We were watching the
programme on channel 4 "50 films to see before you die".

Some of them were appealing but, in my opinion most were quite bleak
and arty.

One of the more interesting looking ones is on Film4 tonight- "Lost in
Translation", I'm going to watch it and do some ironing!

I missed it too.  I was watching that 50 films before you die too.  I thought it was quite good, as it's not what you expected.  Like Grease and American Pie weren't in it!  Mind you I only watched to no 35 as we were knackered!

I wish I saw this, as I want DP to propose!   GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!  Or I would love an eternity ring at least!    Mind you we've just forked out £10k of savings for the deposit for the house, so we don't have money for rings etc..    It's sweet to think a guy would do that for his wife to be.  Mind you what if she said no!  haha.. I know that wouldn't have happened!!

I think it must have been a pilot show to see how it went down because at the end of the show they asked if anyone was interested in taking part in a similar show to phone them, so I am sure there will be more in the future.

Aww i never knew about this & also missed 50 film b4 u die

Sounds brill

Im want a majorly romatic proposal next time or i wont say yes lol. I settled for an average proposal with ex although the gorgeous ring more than made up for it & i knew i couldnt expect anything more cause it took me all my time to convince him to get engaged. So next time a guy proposes it better be the works
