I can honestly say I probably have the most minging feet. But they get worse in the summer when wearing sandals/flipflops. I've got really bad dry cracked skin and its now starting to hurt. I need some advice as Ive tried most creams on the market but could do with a cheap alternative! Thanks xxx

Have you been for a pedicure? They are brilliant and really do make a difference after the first one. The salon i go to is brilliant and all you need to do after one at home is apply moisteriser (sp lol) when you get up and before you go to bed to keep the results and your feet looking good.
Or have you tried moisteriser (sp again) that you coat your feet in then put on special cotton socks whilst you sleep? Just take the socks off in the morning and wash your feet and your feet feel like silk. I got my ones (crem and socks) from Avon but i think boots sell them all to.

Have you tried a pummy stone. Lol they are called something like that. You use it in the bath when the skin has gone soft. You rub it over the dry skin and it rubs the worst of it away. I always found these quite good. I don't use creams so have no idea sorry. xx

I buy a foot file from the Body shop, and use E45 cream and mine are lovely and soft.
I did read in a beauty mag, the best thing to keep you feet in tip top condition was to mix some tanning oil with sand (from the beach) and 'exfoliate', not been on holiday day yet so havent managed to try it lol

Try dunking your feet in a bowl of water with some dettol in it, leave them in there for a while, then rub cream in. If they get bad, i've found sudocreme helps. Once the cracking has gone, or in the most part healed. Use neat surgical spirit, on some cotton wool...don't go overboard cos its strong stuff and just rub it on the heels and the balls of your feet. It helps to toughen up the skin and make it stronger. After doing that for about two weeks, jobs done. Its a RAF thing, we used to do it all the way through training and if we were going on exercise cos the feet were the first to suffer. I only tend to do it when summer is coming up, and i want to do the sandals thing, or if I am going around with nothing on my feet, which is the majority of the time. Good luck, hope it works for you, if you do try it.
