I continued using the pump for a little while after recieving your advice. Haven't noticed it leaking as much.  I'm sure it was the way I had positioned it.  It is a good pump to use so didn't want to get rid of it.

Don't have much call to express nowadays cos i'm not working at the moment, and have slowed down breastfeeding Tom during the day so my milk is drying up.  He is on formula and solids.

I found that those breast shells were invaluable for saving every spare drop of boob juice though!
