It sounds like it may well be something that will need to be manually removed, you may want to seek advice from one of the spyware forums.
I can recommend Ewido for cleaning, it may well get rid of this for you, if anything can, it will do, you can use it on a free trial and it's well worth anyones time to download it and to run a scan http://www.ewido.net/en/
There is a lot of software around at the moment that claim to do various things such as protect and clean your system, the majority of them are just spyware themselves.
