I have a feeling that smooth peanut butter is ok over the age of 1, but I'm weaning book-less at the mo!

Does anyone know as I'd like to try Ella with it in her sarnies tomorrow.

Thanks

I read some where that you can't give children nuts until there are 5 due to allergies ????? I persume that the same applies with peanut butter.

If your not sure about allergies you can do a skin test, place a very small amount of peanut butter on the smooth inside skin of the arm and leave it there it only has to be a tiny bit, keep an eye on the area if there is any irritation to the skin then don't give your lo peanut butter as they are probably allergic. hth
