Hi,

Well, my son is much better today thankfully. Hopefully I won't come down with it in the next few days. I'm 5+5 days now and every day seems to be dragging by. It's awful these first 12 weeks, because you feel paranoid and on gusset watch the whole time!! I haven't bought anything for the baby yet, will wait for my scan in 7 weeks time before starting to get anything. I've got a few ideas what buggy I'd like but that's all really. Even though this is my 5th I don't have any clothes or equipment to hand down to it, I got rid of everything after my 4th was born as I wasn't expecting to have anymore. I am going to find out what sex the baby is at my 20 week scan, so that I know whether to buy pink or blue clothes. I currently have 2 boys and 2 girls and would love another girl because my husband is only the father of 1 of my boys and it would be nice for him to have one of each, I'm certainly not having anymore after this one as I'm going to get sterilised at the birth. I've had 4 caesareans and will be having a 5th caesarean. I keep reading up on the signs for if you are expecing a boy or a girl and so far they point to me having a girl. When I was pregnant with my 4th I craved cheese awfully and apparently that is a sign you're having a boy. Do any of you have any cravings yet? I'm craving mashed banana mixed with milk, smoothies and fruit juice. Do you have many other signs? I have really tender boobs, nausea, greasy hair!! and skin!! mood swings, stronger sense of smell, back and groin pains and wind!!

Glad you're feeling better.  I spent the majority of my two pregnancies in The Gambia, West Africa.  I was exposed to all sorts of germs and bacteria, but both my babies were healthy.  During my first pregnancy I had food poisoning twice.  I was vomiting and ill with diarrhoea.  Then I dehydrated, but both my wee ones were born unscathed.  It's amazing what the placenta can do!!

I craved everything with my first pregancy.  I have a sweet tooth so it was a great excuse to indulge.  With my second pregnancy I had a thing for sour sweets!!  I had two boys so I don't know if that tells you anything.

I sometimes think I would like another one, a little girl maybe, but my hubby isn't too keen.  Two is a nice number at the moment!!

Hugs,  Zo

Hi there, I've not been on here for 3 weeks but everything is ok. I am 9 weeks today and had my booking in visit last Monday. My scan date has been brought forward to the 22nd September, because the midwife wants me to see my consultant at the same time, because I've had 4 previous caesareans.  I've still got loads of pregnancy symptoms - nausea, sore boobs, greasy hair, greasy skin, tiredness, gone off of tea and coffee, cravings, needing to wee more often and wind! My eldest kids go back to school next week and then my youngest child starts nursery on the 20th September. Hope you are all well.

Glad things are going along well for you.  I hated the nausea have to say I only had it with Ollie and not with the girls but the thought of that period of time still makes me feel ill now.

Hi mumsam,

You've replied to a couple of messages I've left this morning, how many kids do you have? How old are they? Where do you live? I live in Surrey. I've got 4 kids aged 15, 13, 11 and 3.5 (2 boys and 2 girls) called Kimberley, Matthew, Natalie and Chandler. Looking forward to meeting new friends on here.
