Update. Not been on here in 20 days but just wanted to let you know that everything is fine. I'm 12 weeks today and my scan is in 3 days time. Just want to get it over and done with now as I will then be able to relax a little. 2 friends I met on the internet have lost their babies and it has panicked me a bit. 1 girl had spotting and went for a scan thinking she was 7.5 weeks, they told her she had either lost the baby or was much earlier than she thought. They took blood tests to check her hormone levels which showed they were still increasing, so they sent her for another scan which showed she was 3 weeks less than she thought she was. A week later she miscarried. The second friend went for her scan at 11+2 and was told that she had either lost her baby or was much earlier than she thought, as there was nothing showing on the scan. 2 days later she started bleeding and having pains and is also no longer pregnant either. Please keep your fingers crossed for me and I will let you know how I go on Thursday.

I had my 12 week scan this morning and everything is
fine. We saw a heartbeat and there is only 1 baby. my
dates are correct and I'm still due the 2nd April. I
had the nuchal scan done and my risk is 1 in 1581,
does anyone know whether this is high or low? It took
them 30 minutes to scan me as the baby wasn't in the
right position. when they first started scanning me
the baby was jumping around but then it went to sleep
and they had me rolling from side to side, jumping up
and down and coughing to try and get the baby to move.
They then tried giving me an internal scan to see
whether they would be able to see the back of the neck
clearer but they couldn't. They tried scanning me
externally again and the baby had done a somersault
and turned right over and they were able to get the
measurements they needed. I got 3 photos but only had
to pay for 1 because of the amount of time I was in
there. It was fabulous and I can now finally relax.

Hi Everyone,
I've not been on for a few weeks and am now 17+1 weeks. I started feeling the baby move a couple of weeks ago and when I went to see the midwife last Friday she said my uterus felt more like 18-20 weeks, but I know my dates are correct so maybe I'm carrying a lot of amniotic fluid or I'm going to have an elephant!! I heard the heartbeat and she took my blood pressure which was 100/60. I've currently got a cold and feeling a bit crap, had organised to do so many things during the half term and I've already had to cancel some of them and have spent the first 2 days stuck indoors. Hope everyone is ok.
