Andy is away on the Isle of Skye for 2 weeks and although we didn't part on the best of terms, I'm not actually missing him at all. This is kind of worrying me as normally I'm counting the days til he comes back.  I keep finding that I'm asking myself in my head if I would manage with all 3 kids on my own as well.

Oh lord, My parents are seperated so I some times ask myself if I could cope if John left me. I don't take any notice because at the end of the day it's just a thought in my head, and I am sure lots of people would ask themself the same question especially after disagreement.

How long is he gone ? Is he gone long enough for you to miss him ? You may only think you don't miss him as a defence.

If you still the same way when he comes home, have a chat to him.

You may just be feeling a bit low.

Hope you feel better soon.

I think sometimes I over analyze things when Tony is away as I have too much time to think. I wouldnt worry, maybe its just that some time apart is what you both need and when he returns you'll feel better about it.

As for the kids, don't worry. Depression eats at your self esteem and it makes you feel you can't cope. Deep down you know you will, just as you always do. It is hard being on your own with the kids for that long. I struggle with just eddie when tony is away just a week! If you need help dont be afraid to ask. Get a friend or family member to have the kids for a night to give you a break if possible, or get a friend round in the evening for a take away and glass of wine, I make sure I do that whenever Tony is away and it makes me feel much better.

Dont worry hun, you'll be feeling fine in no time!

awwww, try not to worry about it - when my DH went away for a week, I was so busy with things I had planned so I wasn't bored, I hardly noticed he wasn't here except that I had to bath Ellie every night!  I don't know what else to say really but I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one not to miss their DH terribly while they're away...hugs, Greedy, xx
