I have very hard pregnancies. I lost twins at 22 wks when I was 16 years old. I had my ds at 37 wksa which is not really considered a preemie he was 6lbs 11oz and stayed in the hospital for 1 wk .I started going into labor at 20 wks and was placed on bedrest. I had my second dd at 30 wks and was on bedrest from 20 wks, She was 4lbs 3oz and stayed in the hospital for 4 wks. She now has health issues such as Chronic Asthma, Lung disease, She get pneumonia just about every winter and is hospitialized at least 3 times. Last year she was taken out of school in October and could not go back to school until April of this year and was tutored. She takes a nebulizer with 2 differant types of medication each day. She also takes singulair pills. During winter she is on steroids as well. I had my last dd at 34 wks she was 5lbs 10 oz and only stayed in the hospital for 1 wk. I was put on bedrest with her at 16 wks for contractions. So thats my preemie babies!

Thanks ladies! yes its very hard! They said she will grow out of it when she gets her adult lungs around 12. For now no matter how much she grow her lungs will still be underdeloped do to her being so premature and from her being on the vents
