Well it didn't happen this month so onto month two now.  I think possibly it's going to be harder as I am still breastfeeding.  Trying not to get obsessed with the whole thing but it's not easy, feel like I have waited for so long to start trying and now it's up to nature and mostly out of our control, so frustrating!!

It must be so frustrating Sam. And it doesn't help that with these things
it's better to relax and be stress-free. Your feeding will probably
actually help you to relax though!

Sending you big hugs and baby-sparkle!

I know this is a silly question Sam but How long do you intend to breast feed Oliver ? I know that breastfeeding can have a role in preventing you to conceive but that depends on how often you feed the lo.

When I was ttc last year I read some where that only 10% or 20% of couples concieved in the first month of trying, (I not sure of the figures but it was low).

It went on to say that it could take up to 18 months and that the more relaxed you are the more likely you were to concieve. After which it was time to see a doctor.

If I was you I would put ttc to the back of my mind and make love for the fun of it not just to concieve and who knows what might happen, Best of luck !!

Good luck Sam. It is still very early days in TTC so try not to worry too much. I doubt that bfing is making a big difference now if you are having periods.

I wish you lots of luck for this month - in the mean time just enjoy it!

god I turn into a total looney when TTC - it doesn't matter how much I tell myself to relax, it doens't make any difference...I'm obsessed!  poor DH doesn't know what's hit him!

Good luck for this month!

Good luck Sam. I hope it works this month. Did you have any joy with the ovulation calculator in the end?

Well yes and no really.  The problem with most online ovualtion calculators is that they default to a 14 day luteal phase which is the average but I have a 10 day luteal phase.  I did however find one that allowed you to change the luteal phase.
