I noticed a rash/spots on ds1(he's 4) legs yesterday, so i put him in the bath to see if more would appear thinking it was chickenpox again, however he got up this morning and no more have surfaced, plus they haven't got the little blister like heads, so I dont think its that.

He only has them on his legs so I havent a clue what they are, I've tried to photograph them to see if anyone knows.  He isnt ill or complaing of feeling unwell, but he did say they are a little itchy, I haven't changed my soap powder, i washed his new uniform before he wore so?

I really don't know- could it be an allergic reaction? It does look like
chicken pox though, but if he's already had them and no more are
appearing I don't know. Phone the NHS helpline if you're unsure.

Could be impitigo. But not totally sure.
it's very infectious.
It's like a bistery rash which is itchy which can be cleared up with an
anti-biotic
i don't think there are any other symptoms with impitigo but i would get
it checked out if i were you.
have you tried putting calomine lotion on it ?

Could just be a viral thing.  Do the tumbler test, roll a glass tumbler over the spots, if they disappear then its just a rash, if they stay put phone the doc.  Impetigo starts off as a blister type spot and goes all weepy and minging.  It spreads like wildfire...anywhere they touch in a nutshell and more or less will cover the body.  If its just on his legs, it may just be a slight viral infection that he has..which tends to turn up as a rash.  It could be a heat rash...its not as if they sit still when they are at school, tend to run around like nutters.  If you are concerned then just give the out-of-hours doc a ring.  If you have any calamine lotion just dab some on to take away the itchiness.  If it is a viral infection the doc may give you some antihistimine to take away the bodies reaction

Rin, I agree with you in that I doubt it is chicken pox if it has come out on his legs first. Beka's came out on her torso then spread up to face before spreading down to legs.
If he has just started school then it could be impetigo (apparently it is common to pick this up from other kids when they are just starting nursery or school).
Sorry not sure really as mine have not had impetigo.

He is not taking any other medicine and it could be a reaction to that?
Listen to Dr Colie.
I agree with everyone else and would speak to doctor tomorrow. If he became unwell then would take him straight to hossie.

Let us know what it turns out to be.

Very unlikely to be chickenpox if he has already had it.  Almost looks like a nettle rash.  Has he been playing in long grass at all?  Has he had a cold or a virus recently?

Ds had this type of rash over his chest and back and when i took him to the dr's they said it was just a viral infection and sent us home with calpol and ibuprofen, it disappeared in about a week but i would go and check if it bothers him, he might get something to relieve the itching.

Sam he's just moved to the 'big' playground at school, which is where the grass is, so i'd imagine he's been in there, he's had no symptoms of a cold or any other illness for a while.

Like I said he's not ill and hasn't complained about it all day and no more have appeared so I'm not overly worried, we're at speech therapy in the morning so if it's still there i might pop him in to the hv's as it's the same building and see what she says.

Oh the joys of kids eh!
