When the girls were younger I often used to swap children with my brother for a week in the summer holidays, I would have one or two of his (he has 6) and leave one of mine with him, the kids used to love it.  I also had a friend that had two daughters similar ages to my girls and we would swap for the weekends.  Was really great the kids were always well behaved and enjoyed the change of scene.  Not a lot of sleeping was done though.
