I'm afraid I cant help you with the cyst but I am fast becoming an expert on SPD. I had it from 20 weeks pregnant and an still suffering now my son is 18 months old. I have had crutches, walking stick, wheelchair, stays in hospital, all sorts of treatments, the lot.
I have written 2 articles for Madmums see here for my SPD article and here for my birth story.
I would recommend contacting the pelvic partnership and their information is invaluable. Become a member (it isnt expensive and all money goes to help their members) and they will offer telephone and email support and answer any questions you might have. See their website here.
I personally didnt find a belt helped me so I didnt wear one. Find a physio that understands the condition and has experience treating it, make sure you get an urgent referal if you havent already - dont let anyone brush this away. Acupuncture is helpful (I dont know how much they can do in pregnancy but its worth asking), find a chiropractor who has treated it before and has experience - I have just found one who specialises in pregnancy and I am finally on the slow road to recovery, shes expensive but worth every penny!
Speak to your gp about painkillers - there are some you can have which wont harm your baby - I was even on Morphine for the last week before I had my son and he is absolutely fine!
I will add to this as I think of more. If I can help more or you just want someone to talk to who understands send me a PM! If I can do anything just ask! I offer you my every sympathy!
It will get better and doesnt always get worse with each pregnancy - stay positive and think of the end result - holding that beautiful baby in your arms! Hugs!
