Our school always has those temporary tattoos for sale, and I always get stung for an absolute fortune on it.

They also have a 'dress down' mufti day, and make the fee to donate a bottle for the bottle stall (can be alcohol, squash, shampoo, anything), which then gives you the supplies for another stall that's v. popular with the parents.

The Hook-a-duck stall always seems to have a big queue as well.

I love Christmas things - can't wait for our school ones to start!

At our local primary one of the most popular games at the summer fete is throw wet sponges at the teachers! Not sure how easy it'd be indoors though!

They also have a raffle with donated prizes from local businesses. Sell mince pies and mulled wine (sell the mince pie at an expensive price with free mulled wine to get away with not needing an alcohol licence!)

Umm... brain gone blank but I'll think of more!

the pta do at dds school had the following:

play your cards right - ie about 12 big playing cards on display & do the brucey higher/lower thing - dd was the only 1 to win it (so proud!!)

guess the birthday of the teddy

indoor curling (need space for this)

pick tickets & the winning numbers are on a sheet displayed on the wall - if you're ticket matches - you win (if you see what i mean)

hope this helps

I have just joined the PTA at Ellis' school and so these will come in handy for our Christmas Fayre too!

At the summer fayre they had a chocolate fountain and sold marshmallows/tablet/strawberries etc drenched in chocolate - was very very popular

Trying to think what else there was....

Craft Corner where the kids paid a pound and got to choose whether to make a necklace or a bracelet from beads etc

Book Stall - parents donated old books to sell and also games/toys etc

Cake Stall - homemade goodies are always popular

Will add more when I think of them
