where do i start, Katie turned 3 at the beginning of this month and still was no closer to potty training than when she was born.  I've tried many times to train her but it just ended in exhaustion.  Well, on Monday i thought I'd give it another go.  I took Katie shopping to choose her new knickers and a few pairs of pants (knowing we'd be going through them) and on Monday afternoon we started training.

Here's a diary of how things went....

monday

between lunch time and bed time katie had 3 messy accidents and 9 wet accidents...i thought here we go again, it'll be another failed attempt but i was determind this time will be the one.

tuesday

katie went to nursery with 6 lots of clothing, she returned home in a nappy because she'd soaked all her clothes and some of the nursery's.  We had 2 messy accidents and 3 wet accidents at home before bed.

wednesday

5 wet accidents and 1 messy accident, i really thought this wouldn't work again.

thursday

nursery again.  I picked her up and she had been changed, i expected the worst but it turned out she had just 1 wet accident and thats only because she didn't get to the toilet on time, we had no accidents in the evening before bed.

today (friday)

NOT A SINGLE ACCIDENT AT ALL TODAY.  katie used her potty and the toilet plenty and she didn't have a single accident all day, she was so proud before bed and i was too.  I think she may have finally got it at long last!!!

aww well done katie, they do say jen potty training takes time stick with it and goodluck.

They do seem to build a sence of self-pride when they manage to use their pottys, so keep at it and she soon be Queen of the Potty!!!

Mine used to do a number 2 in theirs and would always come and show everyone what they had done....feeling so proud of themselves, Bless them tho.
Hope it continues to improve for you, its so much easier on your purse at the end of the day isnt it.
I had 2 in nappies at the same time as well and buying 2 sets of different sized nappies was so expensive.

Saturday

we stayed dry all day but had one small wet accident in the evening.  Still it's early days.

sunday

Another completely dry day.  Not a single accident.  I'm the proudest mum on the planet, it's not even been a week yet!

I can see why ur proud, i cant wait until Ryans out of nappies but im not rushing him

Aww well done Katie! (And well done Jen!)

Edward took his nappy off to anounce to me he'd done a poo the other day so I think I may be able to get him done quickly but I'll leave it a while for now.
