Hi everyone...
I've just come accross this website/forum through the pelvic partnership and I just wanted to say hi to you all..
I am 34 years old, I live in a little village in Ayrshire (Scotland) with my DH and 2 DD's (Caitlin 6yrs & Megan 4yrs).. During my last pregancy (Megan) I developed SPD (I had with he first one too) but unfortunately it went on to become the more severe form (DSP: Diastasis Symphysis Pubis) and I'm now registered disabled because of it... Are there any other sufferers out there? If so, I'd love to hear from you, find out if you've had any success with treatments etc... I've had the plating, a hysterectomy (everything removed) and loads of painkillers...
If you haven't had it I'd still love to hear from you... it gets awful lonely being stuck in the house 24/7...

Hi Trudi,
Really nice of you to say hi so quickly... I'm really looking forward to chatting to you all....
On another note, would I be able to advertise/promote MM's on my own website? I sell childrens clothes so I get a lot of mums popping in to view it so I could maybe put a link on or something?? how would I go about doing something like that? who would I need to ask?

Hi Jenny, whereabouts in Ayrshire do you live. My name is Nicky and I live in Catrine East Ayrshire with my dh and 3 kids Kirstin 15, Gregory 10 and Harrison (Harry) who is 16 months. I don't get on the site very often these days as I am training to be a teacher at Craigie in Ayr.

Hi Nicky,
I'm in Easy Ayrshire too... Darvel to be exact so I'm not that far away from you (I think) I'm originally from Glasgow (via Essex) so I don't really know Ayrshire all that well: even though I've lived here for 4 and a half years..

Hi again Jenny, no you are not that far from me about 12 miles. I am over your way quite a bit as my dd snowboards at Newmilns and I take Harry to the soft play in Galston. Chisi another mm lives in Darvel (if I remember rightly)
I also have only lived here for just over 4 years having moved here from Hampshire. My dh comes from up here. Hope to talk to you more soon.
