A little while ago, I told you about my disabilities and how that affected parenting and everyday life. I am pleased to announce that we are all coping brilliantly!!

Lewis now climbs the stairs unaided, with me or dh following behind him and holds onto the hand rail and mummy's or daddy's hand coming down the stairs. He now stands in the shower whilst either dh or I shower him, and is patient (yes I know!!) whilst I get things for him as I'm not as quick as others around me. He has also learned to keep still when I'm changing him on the chest of drawers and picks things up for me when I drop them!!

He still has his moments and strops like any other toddler, but he is adapting really really well to this current situation. Also dh and I work together to do things properly, basically something that takes one person to do, takes two people in our house - but at least its done properly!!!
Just wanted to share that with you all as I'm over the moon!!!
Luv Nikki xxxx
