Just wondering if anyone knows of any good websites i could find templates for Halloween masks?Im making them with the kids at nursery (age 3-4) after the october week & looking for some cool ideas

Also need ideas for other activities to do with 3-4 year olds, not related to halloween - doesnt have to be arts & crafts

All ideas welcome thanx

Hey Pauline!

I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to orginize our halloween party, although I'll just be going about with Travis and helping him mostly.

I'm making salt dough and adding food colouring - green and purple.

What about making 'slime'?  It's a mix of cornflour and water.  Have you ever felt it?  You can add food colouring to it too!  It's great stuff and the kids will love it.

I'm just in the middle of trying to find templates on the web.  Are you talking about just geting a circle of card and finding out where the eye/ mouth /nose holes are?  Use Ryan as your guinea pig, but just make it a little bigger... or get Rebecca to try it out on.

Hope this helps a little.  Good luck with it, xx

Thanx Jopsy - Yes my nursery is celebrating Halloween

Cardboard band is a great idea thanx for that, we were talking about maybe just sticking lolly sticks to them so the kids could hold the masks up, elastic is a big nono incase it gets around their neck

i did a seach for halloween masks but didnt find wot i was looking for, i'll add in those extra search words & see wot i come up with

Course is rubbish Lorna lol but loving the placement part, thats wots keeping me going

thats easy!

children really dont care-as long as they vaguely resemble something!

you can just tell them its a cat even if it looks like a fish!
