took matthew down to a&e yesterday as the asthma nurse at the surgery wouldnt see him, she said he needs to seen by a paed
we got there at 5pm (this was the new hosp we r being transferred to). they checked his obs and listened to hos chest which was clear then to his lungs and said they could hear crackles on both sides, he saw the doc who wasnt happy so he was referred to a paed, we waited til about 7.30 and then he checked matthew properly, the best treatment hes had apart from GOSH.
he was quite worried by his recession, matthew has a big gap at the top of his chest from all his repeated chest problems and this was going in more, hes nostrils where flaring when he was breathing and u could see he was making more of an effort to breathe, he heard the crackes and said he could have pneumonia so they dont a chest xray which showed shadows on both sides
hes now on a week worth of anti b's. 6 puffs of his inhaler every 4 hours, and has to go bk to the gp in a weeks time
im so angry, he last saw the gp on friday and im sure he had it then,
they have referred him to the asthma nurse at the hosp and r now discussing matthew today, they were abit worried by the xray so r gonna see if they can do anymore to help him
im sooo glad i took him now i think if i did go to the gp they would of sent him away again, and if we took him to the old hosp they would of also sent him away
hes very quiet today, not himself at all and i feel so sorry for him
oh well another illness to add to the long list of things hes already had
